Fresh broccoli sprouts on a fork showing a simple daily serving for immune support

Circulating Health asked its founder and CEO, Chris Tucker, to answer the questions we hear most from our community about food and nutrition. Chris has been eating intentionally for 35 years, continuously refining his approach as his knowledge grew. These are not theories. This is what he actually does.

What Makes Broccoli Sprouts Different From Every Other Health Food

Broccoli Sprouts Have the Highest Concentration of Sulforaphane of Any Food

C.H.: What is the single most important thing you add to your food that makes the biggest difference in your health?

Chris Tucker: Broccoli sprouts. After a very long time of eating for my health and adjusting as I learned more, this is the one food that has held its place. That should tell you something.

C.H.: Why this one specifically and not something else?

Chris Tucker: Broccoli sprouts carry the highest concentration of sulforaphane of any food. Sulforaphane is one of the most studied compounds in nutrition when it comes to immune support and cancer prevention. I have watched a lot of foods come and go. Broccoli sprouts have stayed because the science keeps backing them up and I keep seeing the results.

C.H.: How long have you personally been using them?

Chris Tucker: Fifteen years consistently. I did not come to them early. I came to them when the research gave me a real reason to. Once I started I did not stop.

How to Actually Use Broccoli Sprouts in Your Kitchen

They Fit Into Food You Are Already Making

C.H.: How do you actually use them in your own kitchen?

Chris Tucker: They are flexible and that matters. I add them to salads. I use them as a topping on soups right before serving. When I blend them into a smoothie the flavor disappears completely. There is no excuse not to use them because they fit into food you are already making.

What Broccoli Sprouts Do for the Body

Immune Support You Build One Meal at a Time

C.H.: What do they do for the body?

Chris Tucker: They give your immune system a serious layer of support. The research on sulforaphane and its connection to cancer prevention and immune function is well established. This is not a trend food. It has serious science behind it.

What Else Goes on the Circulating Health Daily Plate

Black Cumin, Garlic, Legumes, Berries, Kiwi, and Apple

Black cumin seeds used daily for immune support and anti-inflammatory benefits

C.H.: What else makes your daily list?

Chris Tucker: Legumes, berries, kiwi, and apple go in every day. And I want to make sure black cumin and garlic are on the list. Both earn their place. Black cumin has centuries of traditional use and modern research has backed a lot of that up. Garlic’s role in cardiovascular and immune health is among the most documented in nutritional science. These are not guesses. These are decisions.
